Marrow Society Golf Tournament
The
Ottawa chapter of the Society holds a fundraising golf tournament each
year,
attracting a full house of over 140 golfers. The one day
tournament
includes 18 holes of golf, a banquet, silent auction, and prizes.
The
event brings RCMP members and the public together in support of bone
marrow
donation. This 2009 event was held
Thursday, May 21st and brought in revenues of $23,861.
